Lois [Widhalm] had back surgery Monday afternoon.  I saw her last night and she is doing quite well. She probably will head for home today with her husband, Paul, but she has a long road ahead of her for recovery.  Luckily she has a good deputy in Jurice.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have resigned as the Lake County Treasurer/Public Trustee effective April 29, 2011.  Due to current health issues it is in my best interest to resign and take care of myself.  For those of you who helped me out through the years, I want to thank you.  I wish all of you the best and I have enjoyed my tenure as the treasurer.
Best of luck to all of you.
Tina Tekansik
