I would like to take a moment and thank you for all your efforts helping us to serve all Veterans with VA redemption requests, procedures and fund allocations. 

It is our goal to handle every redemption here at OCWEN with the highest level of accuracy as well as in a timely manner.

In order to expedite the process on our end, we have to sporadically update our contacts.

Please provide us with your phone and fax numbers , your full address along with any changes within your department.

 If you have an ”intent to redeem” filed in your office, please request figures at cdotson@ocwen.com providing the following information: 

• VA loan number ( if available)

• Name of the previous mortgagor
• Property Adress with ZIP code
• Your civil case number, if applicable
• Owner intend or lienholder intend
• Redemption Expiration date
• Date figures should be good through

 It is very important:

• to inform OCWEN as soon as an asset has been redeemed, as we continue to service the property until we get valid notification to cancel.
• to provide Ocwen with the exact redemption date
• to state the redemption amount
• to request ALL necessary documents to release the funds to OCWEN
• that all checks have to be made out to “The Department of Veteran’s Affairs”

The Department of Veteran’s Affairs requires us to compile all supporting documents for each redemption case. Please fax:

• a copy of the CERTIFICATE OF PURCHASE or SHERRIFF’S DEED,

• a copy of the NOTE

• the first page of the MORTGAGE or DEED oF TRUST

If you are unable to provide some or all of the documents please forward contact details of the Foreclosure Counsel so that we can contact them directly.
