EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING

August 28, 2003

The Executive Board of the Colorado Public Trustee Association meet on August 28, 2003 at the Jefferson County Courthouse.

Present were: Bob Sagel, President; Peggy Foley, First VP; Jim Covington, Treasurer.

Items Discussed:

Agenda for Seminar in October:

• Peg Ackerman will be invited. She and Karen Shaeffer will give a report from the Legislative Committee regarding the foreclosure bill that the Bar Association is working on. Hopefully, Peg will have a draft for us to review.
• Jack Arrowsmith will give a report on the E-Business meeting.
• Tina Whimer will report on the Legal Counsel Committees discussions regarding retaining legal counsel for the association.

Lunch on Public Trustee Day

• Jim indicated that the Association pays for the luncheon on that day.
• The board decided on having the "Pizza Buffet for lunch.

FYI: Our contract with Peg Ackerman is $250 a month = $3,000 a year.

Jim will create and present a budget for the year July 1, 2003 to June 30, 2004. This will be presented at the October meeting.

Bob will follow up with the forms committee regarding the new release forms. At the June meeting the decision was made that Bradford publishing needs to create and copyright the forms. The forms committee will notify the association members when the forms are ready for us to order and accept.

Bob will follow up with the manual committee to see if they have reviewed and approved the manual produced by Rich Krohn. It was handed out before the previous manual committee reviewed and approved it.

The next executive board meeting will be on Thursday morning October 23^rd in Fort Collins. Bob will let us know the time.
