The executive board met at 7:30 a.m. in the hotel restaurant. Present were Bob Sagel, President; Peggy Foley, 1st Vice President; Ed Murray, 2nd Vice President; Jim Covington, Treasurer; Jamie Crocket, Secretary.
Joining the meeting was Jim Wills, Boulder County Deputy Public Trustee. He informed us of a situation occurring in the bigger counties regarding a Notice of Dismissal of Trustee. Boulder County has received several of these, as well as Pueblo County. They are referencing www.globaldebtsolution.com, www.givemeliberty.org, sites that seem to be telling individuals how to stop a foreclosure. The forms have been given to both Boulder and Pueblo County attorneys for a legal opinion. Jim, along with Jeannie Reeser, Adams County Public Trustee, would like a copy of the Notice of Dismissal of Trustee to be forwarded to Ken Salazar, Attorney General, and the fraud unit for Real Estate. Both feel this situation needs to be addressed.
The association meeting will address E-recording, the legal fund dues, and legal counsel.
