President Jim Covington called the meeting to order.  Other members present were Sandra Berry, Michelle Miller, Jamie Crocket, Patty Bartlett, Linda Statz, Carol Snyder, and Dee Ann Stults.

Jim informed us that the hospitality room was sponsored by First American-Gene Gowens and that the Past Presidents dinner is being sponsored by GTS and CMS on Tuesday night at 6:00p.m.

Jim thanked all the board members for their work the past year.  Michelle thanked Jim for his work as president.

Michelle presented the audit report and the treasurer’s report.  As of the end of May our balance is $69,888.74.  Sandra Berry moved to approve the reports and Jamie Crocket seconded.  Motion passed.  Discussion was held about some of the confusion among members regarding dues to the CPTA and CCTA and the divisions.  Michelle reported that all dues are paid except for Las Animas.  She will call to remind them.

A letter from Rich Krohn about a fee increase was read.  Rich is requesting a 5% increase from $195 to $205 per hour.  After a short discussion Michelle Miller moved to approve the increase. Linda Statz seconded. Motion passed.  Michelle also reported that we have an EIN number and have applied for a tax exempt status and are waiting to hear back from the State.

Patty Bartlett presented the suggested guidelines for board approval.  Michelle Miller moved to accept the document with a few minor changes. Jamie Crocket seconded the motion.  Motion passed.  Jim thanked Patty for all the work on the guidelines.

Jim reported for Bob that we are still working on the fixes to the foreclosure bill and that the next Legislative meeting is July 28th at 10:00 at the offices of CMS.  We will also have a short meeting on Thursday at lunchtime.

We will be meeting with the CCTA executive board for lunch and a joint meeting to discuss the cost of the conferences.
