Steve Hutt, Denver County, CCTA President, called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. and welcomed everyone.
Mack Crowther, Conejos County, gave the invocation.
Larimer County Sheriff's Honor Guard, Lt. Ken Elliott, Lt. Robert Cook, Sgt. Mike Brooks, Cpl. Scott Shellhaas, and Dep. Ian Stewart presented the Colors and led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Mack Crowther, Conejos County, Secretary/Treasurer had roll call and 47 County Treasurers were present.
The minutes of the CCTA Conference held in Canon City June 24, 2003 were approved as presented. Linda Statz, Phillips County, made the motion and Larry Gilliland, Summit County, seconded the motion. Passed unanimously. Treasurer's Report given with a balance of $127,487.23 as of 9/30/03.
Roxie Huber, Broomfield County, mentioned the dates of Eastern Division for Spring, 2004 would be March 18 & 19 in Limon. Cynthia Barnes with CTSI was scheduled with a program on "Responsibilities in the Workplace" and also a presentation on E-Recording.
Steve Hutt, Denver County, mentioned that Committee Rosters were available.
Bob O'Neal with Trans America spoke about the purchase of Trans America by 1st American Tax Service and would become one company. For now they would continue as 2 operations for County Treasurers.
